Today, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opened nationwide. Don’t wait! Get your proof of 2019 household income together and either fill out the FAFSA at fafsa.gov at your house or come to school and let us help you. Don’t ever let money be a reason why you can’t attend college. You can come to school on Monday, October 5th (by appointment-call Mrs. Meade) or on the 9th from 12-6 and meet with our KHEAA representative. We will be following social distancing guidelines and you must wear your mask. If you have all of your information, it will take you about an hour to complete the FAFSA and make an FSA ID (username and password) to electronically sign your FAFSA. If you have younger siblings, your parents may already have an FSA ID. You’ll need that in order for them to sign your FAFSA. I emailed all the seniors a 2021-2022 FAFSA completion guide. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Anyone interested in Jenkins Archery, needs to stop by Mrs. Fields' Room 120 at JMHS to pick up fundraiser packets by Sept. 23, 2020. We must have funds to be able to participate in the archery meets. Since COVID has restricted most of our fundraising opportunities, we need to raise funds quickly and greatly. This fundraiser was easy and beneficial last year. We will begin practice on Sept. 29, 2020 at 3:30 pm. We must practice social distancing, face masks are required, and all practices will be closed due to safety issues (both COVID and NASP regulations). Practices will be staggered in order to ensure that we are meeting health requirements, so the practice schedule will be altered due to number of participants. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Candy Fields at (606) 832-2184 or (606) 821-8289.
