Tomorrow will be a traditional snow day! While there will be no school or NTI assignments, please know that we are evaluating conditions daily and are committed to returning to in-person instruction as soon as it’s safe to do so.

The Jenkins Independent School District will hold a public forum Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 3:30 in the Jenkins Middle High School cafeteria to present and discuss the district's plan for improving the school district's nutrition and physical activity environments.
Tuesday, January 21st, will be NTI Day 10 for our district. Students, we encourage you to log on, complete your assignments, and stay engaged with your learning from home. Teachers will be available during the day to assist you with any questions or concerns.

Kindergarten is embarking on an adventure called Hearts Around the World! Please share this post to help them reach their goal of receiving a post card from every state and from some different countries around the globe.
Due to ongoing concerns with secondary road conditions, tomorrow, Friday, January 17th, will be NTI Day #9 for our district. After careful evaluation, we have determined that it is not yet safe to transport our students.
We know the importance of in-person learning and are eager to welcome our students back to school and return to a normal schedule. Your safety is always our top priority, and we will resume in-person instruction as soon as conditions allow us to do so safely.

Thursday will be a professional development day, so staff will report to school, but students will not. Friday will be an NTI day due to snow in the forecast. Today at Burdine Staff Christmas Party the staff broke into teams and decorated Gingerbread Houses. We need your help deciding the best Gingerbread House! Please like your favorite house! The team with most likes wins!
