‼️Attention Burdine Elementary Parents/students‼️ PeeWee Cheerleading signups for grades pre-K -4th will be Thursday August 1st in the Burdine School cafeteria from 4:00 to 6:00…the last day to sign up will be August 7th.. there will be a $10 fee for shirts due at signups.
Kindergarten students have had a wonderful time the past two weeks at KinderBoost! Students have been learning school routines, checking out their classrooms, and getting a boost for the school year! This kindergarten class also broke the Save the Children record for high attendance on the first day of KinderBoost. If you still need to register for kindergarten @ JIS come see us tomorrow for the last in school session day of KinderBoost.
We had a great turnout for Open House last night at both campuses!
Burdine had over 100 families in attendance! Congratulations to Lana Depriest and Isabella Brock you both won a school spirit blanket.
Come see us at Burdine and JMHS for Open House 5-7! Kona Ice and Roo from the Save the Children are at Burdine. Anyone that attends Open House will be entered into a drawing for a Jenkins school spirit blanket. There will be one winner per campus. #swordsup #letsgocavs ⚔️💚🤍

Please enter through the front doors tomorrow morning, so we can sign you in. Parents will attend a Family Workshop while students join their teachers for a fun filled half day. Students not registered for kindergarten can still register tomorrow morning.

Don't miss another chance to sign up for preschool or enroll in kindergarten @ JIS! July 16th 10-2 @ Burdine Elementary. MCHC will be on site to administer screenings. Please bring your child, their birth certificate, and updated shot record.
If you still need to register for Kindergarten @ Jenkins Independent there is still time! Scan the QR code to register. Anyone who already registered for kindergarten using the online enrollment form or by coming to the school does not have to complete the form. Those who have registered are already on the roster for Kinderboost!
