First and second grade students have embarked on an adventure with Flat Stanley! Yesterday they visited Jenkins post office to see how the mail process works. And today Flat Stanley left for Hong Kong! We can't wait to see all the places he travels to!

🌸🎨 Spring Fun at Burdine Elementary! 🎨🌸
Grace Henderson had a wonderful time visiting the kindergarten, first, and second-grade students at Burdine Elementary! She led a fun and creative spring painting activity, bringing lots of color and smiles to the classroom. 🌷✨
It was a joy to see the kids express their creativity and celebrate the beauty of spring through art! 🌼🎨

Join us for prek and kindergarten registration March 27th @ Burdine! There will be health screenings, games, free kindergarten readiness materials, books, and light refreshments. Families can also tour the school, meet the teachers, and support staff. We can't wait to see everyone!

Sorry for the late notice, but after careful evaluation, there will be no school in Jenkins Independent due to black ice and unsafe travel conditions.  

We love earning awesome cards @ Burdine preschool! Laya Johnson earned  an awesome card for cleaning up someone else’s mess. Way to go Laya!

Students not only enjoyed her storytelling but also learned about dialect, crafted their own Jack Tales, and explored how to build and share original stories. It was a fun and inspiring day of creativity! Thank you Letcher Promise Neighborhood for providing this opportunity.
