Dear Cavalier Nation,
Welcome to the 2021-22 school year! With great pride and much excitement, I join Jenkins Middle High School as your new Principal. I look forward to partnering with you to ensure all students are celebrated and supported. Together, we will maintain our tradition of excellence and foster our sense of community that makes Jenkins Independent such a unique place.
As a 27 year educator, I am driven by the individual success and growth of every student. I am excited to bring my passion, enthusiasm and experience to Jenkins. I’m ready to observe, listen, learn, and understand what makes Jenkins Middle High thrive.
It truly does take a village of people working together to support and raise our kids. At the heart of my practice is building strong relationships with the staff, students, and families I serve. I look forward to listening to your ideas and vision for our school and collaborating with each of you to support our sense of community. As your principal, I will strive to ensure that all families feel welcome and connected to our school family. Please be on the lookout for upcoming news and family events, but also know that I would love to hear from you at any time.
I know many of our students and families are eagerly anticipating the full reopening of our campus! We cannot wait for our hallways, classrooms, and buses to be filled with happy kids and laughter. We are purchasing all needed supplies for students, and we will continue to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students as well. We want our Cavaliers to stay safe and healthy, so we highly encourage them all to mask up!
