attendance

Jenkins Independent Schools recently held its annual High Attendance Day, a school-wide event designed to highlight the importance of being in class. The day was marked by fun activities and friendly competition to motivate students.

At Jenkins Middle High, students participated in a school-wide Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament. The event was a massive success, with students competing for prizes and the title of "Battle Royale Champion." The tournament not only celebrated attendance but also created a fun and memorable experience for everyone.

Burdine Elementary also got in on the fun, combining High Attendance Day with their "Safety Hat Day" as part of Safe Schools Week. The elementary students enjoyed inflatables and ICEEs, a perfect reward for a great turnout.

Both schools used the day to celebrate an amazing start to the new academic year and showcase a sense of community and school spirit. The events served as a reminder that every day counts and that a full student body makes a big difference in creating a positive learning environment.
