MARVIN BOGGS

PRINCIPAL - JENKINS MIDDLE HIGH CAMPUS

Hello Cavaliers,

Welcome to the start of a new school year! I hope this letter finds you and your family well and excited for the year ahead. My name is Marvin Boggs, and I am excited to be starting my first year as principal at Jenkins Middle High School! I have an Elementary Education Degree from Midway College, master’s degree in Teacher Leadership from Union College, Rank 1 and Principalship from Asbury University and will complete my degree as Education Specialist this fall. I have spent my 11-year teaching career in elementary as a 2nd grade teacher, middle school as a special education teacher, and in high school as head of alternative education. Prior to my teaching career, I spent 24 years in the coal industry, and 20 plus years coaching our youth in various sports. I have been blessed with many experiences that I can now bring to our Cavalier family to help them be successful now and in their future endeavors.

As we begin this new school year, I want to emphasize our commitment to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Our staff has been hard at work preparing for the start of a new year and we are excited to welcome students back to campus. I am looking forward to a great school year, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work in such a wonderful community. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to meeting our students and families.

SWORDS UP!

Mr. Marvin Boggs
